National

www.cdc.gov/tobacco - Federal Government - Center for Disease Control. Federal cessation resources may be found at www.surgeongeneral.gov/tobacco. This is not the same iinformation as is listed under Surgeon General at the cdc.gov/tobacco website.

www.no-smoke.org - Americans for Nonsmokers' Rights.

www.tobaccofreekids.org - Campaign for Tobacco-free Kids, also set up www.kickbuttsday.org for youth projects.

http://www.legacyforhealth.org/ - American Legacy Foundation -also set up truth campaign that has been very powerful with youth - this is also found at www.thetruth.com.

www.ttac.org - Tobacco Technical Assistance Consortium - currently supported by the American Legacy foundation. This site www.ttac.org/college provides excellent resources for institutions of higher education.

www.lungusa.org - American Lung Association (see "Tobacco Control button at the top and scroll down on the home page for secondhand smoke). This website also hosts one of the most comprehensive cessation programs - American Lung's Freedom From Smoking (FFS) which along with Join Together's Quitnet

www.tobaccofreeu.org does avery nice job with cessation - this is a site for college students set up by the BACCHUS/GAMMA Peer Education organization.
