CARE of Southeastern Michigan's 25th Annual Parenting Conference

CARE’s 25th Annual Parenting Conference will highlight keynote speaker and author, Jessica Lahey, and her book, The Gift of Failure. In the book, Jessica Lahey talks about “overparenting” and its potential to both ruin children’s confidence and undermine their education. By letting go and allowing children to learn how to solve problems on their own, we give them the tools to grow up to be self-reliant, confident and success. The conference, for parents/guardians with children of all ages, is a day to embrace being a parent and gaining new parenting tools. There are more than 20 workshop options to meet the interests of our diversified audience of parents and professionals. The conference starts at 8:00 am and runs until 3:30 pm on Saturday, March 7, 2020. Check out our website www.careofsem.com or find us on Facebook: CARE of Southeastern Michigan.
