In 2017 a group of engaged government officials, members of the medical community, law enforcement, and local residents initiated the Leelanau County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition. OUR VISION: Leelanau County is a healthy, safe, and knowledgeable community OUR MISSION: To prevent and reduce substance misuse and prioritize behavioral health through community engagement, research, and education.
