Jamie Daniels Foundation grants funds to support community partners that provide programs, resources, and solutions that address the ongoing drug epidemic in our country. The foundation also advocates for legislative change as it relates to drug use and prescribing. Our primary focus is on children, young adults (up to age 24), and their families who are battling Substance Use Disorder through three key initiatives: Prevention, Recovery, and Stigma Reduction.

Meraki Performance is an organizational and human performance consulting company. We believe there is greatness within everyone. In many instances it is the environment or the culture which surrounds a person that either cultivates that personal greatness or hinders it. Meraki Performance partners with a variety of organizations such as K-12 institutions, athletic teams from MHSAA to NCAA, as well as corporates teams. On an individual level, Meraki Performance consultants coach 1:1 helping individuals develop the skills and capacities to walk in purpose, experience fulfillment and to maximize their impact through living from a place of personal authenticity.
The Director of Research, Evaluation, and Leadership Development for The Institute for Leadership and Service at the University of Detroit Mercy provides community engaged research, evaluation, and technical assistance. Dr. Zimmerman-Oster specializes in “Leadership Development Across the Lifespan” and assessment and evaluation of community coalitions and prevention and early intervention programs.
MICARES guides and supports providers through the Practice Pathway program for the Addiction Medicine sub-specialty and develop addiction medicine didactics for UME & CME.
Housed in the Health Promotion Department, Michigan State University’s Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC) serves students in or seeking recovery from alcohol and other drug addiction. Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive campus community in which students in recovery from addiction can achieve their academic, personal and professional goals.
