Justice Leaders Collaborative has compiled, tweaked, and edited a number of activities that we have led and participated in through our roles as teachers, youth workers, afterschool programmers, social workers, and parents. We have also created a number of new activities that are included in this handbook. We do not claim ownership of any of the activities found in this handbook.

Student Leadership Services: Coping with Anxiety in Difficult Times. The current global pandemic is a challenging time for everyone. In this video we engage students in a workshop format to discuss a topic we all need help with right now, stress and anxiety. We help students identify levels of stress and anxiety, discuss strategies to deal with these emotions and suggest additional actions they can take to move forward in a healthy way. It was created for middle school students but is appropriate for all school-aged students and can be watched with families to encourage a conversation about how to support each other to deal with current events.
