Grants

Prevention Network is able to offer grants to grass root organizations in the city of Detroit. Since its start in 2006, Community Connections Grant program, funded by the Skillman Foundation, has supported over 900 innovative, youth-focused projects. For more than 10 years, a volunteer panel of community residents have met monthly to review applications and award funding to support activities like college and work readiness, arts programming, athletics and more.

MIHEN

The Michigan Higher Education Network provides colleges and universities the tools, resources, and support to launch alcohol and drug misuse prevention and recovery programs on their campuses. 

PAM

Parenting Awareness Michigan promotes parenting awareness, education, and resources through state outreach and local effort. PAM celebrates those raising children.  

DFC

Ingham Substance Awareness and Prevention aims to reduce the harmful effects of substance abuse and its related stigma in Ingham County, Michigan.

MCRUD

MCRUD provides leadership on state and national issues and assists individuals, grassroots groups, and organizations to reduce underage drinking locally.

Community Connections
Community Connections is a resident-driven grant program that believes local groups and leaders are essential if neighborhoods are to create safe environments where children and youth grow up successfully.
