About Us
The Michigan Coalition to Reduce Underage Drinking (MCRUD) believes that preventing underage drinking is everybody’s business. Not just parents. Not just the schools. Or law enforcement. Or human service agencies. Or politicians. Or the alcohol industry. Or young people. Everybody. Join us in learning how to support communities by preventing excessive alcohol use and underage drinking.
Join us for the Shoalition
Showcasing community coalitions in Michigan, the Shoalition is a forum for you and/or your coalition to showcase the great things you are doing to prevent and reduce underage drinking! It will also provide coalitions, prevention professionals, and advocates with the tools needed to reduce underage drinking!
Join MCRUD on Tuesday, April 25 – 8:30am – 4:00pm for the 10th Annual Shoalition today!
Become a Regional Representative or Partner
The MCRUD steering committee typically meets monthly around the state to discuss coalition business. It is the heart of the coalition, providing direction and focus. The committee determines MCRUD’s responses to local, state, and national issues involving underage drinking. The steering committee is comprised of the regional representatives and is MCRUD’s most active members giving them and their organization a greater voice in MCRUD’s course of action.
