Training Description
This presentation explores how assistive technology, mobile applications, and AI can support recovery and community inclusion for individuals with BH experiences. Participants will learn about digital tools and emerging technologies that enhance emotional self-regulation, executive function, and personal safety for people with mental health conditions, substance use experiences, and intellectual/developmental disabilities. The training emphasizes person-centered approaches that promote personal agency and self-determination through technology. Attendees will be introduced to specific apps for task management, emotional regulation, and safety planning, as well as AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude that can support person-centered practice and accessibility.
