Our Goal
The goal of the MIHEN is to create a group of individuals from Michigan colleges/universities interested in connecting and networking about underage drinking and substance misuse prevention. We currently have 53 colleges/universities participating in the MIHEN. By becoming a member, you are part of a dynamic community that supports you and your goals. Your participation gives you access to a contact list of other professionals in higher education interested in prevention efforts, inclusion in at least three networking meetings each year, and current research, resources, evidence-based practices, and support in implementing new programming at your school.
2024 Michigan Higher Education Network Conference
This year’s MIHEN Conference is focused on internal and external partnerships within college campuses. Looking at recovery, prevention, and treatment in higher education through a partnership lens allows professionals to better support students and meet the needs of those who are underrepresented. Save the date and time to join the conversation!
