This training prepares participants to lead strategic planning efforts with confidence and clarity. Through guided instruction and hands-on case studies, participants will learn to facilitate a strategic planning process using relevant tools.
Objectives:
- Describe core components of strategic planning — Explain the essential elements of an effective strategic planning process, including vision, goals, and action pathways.
- Identify key facilitation principles — Recognize the foundational techniques used to guide groups through strategy discussions with clarity and structure.
- Explain how to analyze organizational context — Summarize how internal and external factors influence strategic priorities and decision‑making.
- Differentiate between strategic planning tools — Identify the purpose and use of common planning tools such as SWOT, logic models, and goal‑setting frameworks.
